Las Vegas President Gives First American 9 out of 10
(And She Doesn't Give 10s)
"Moving to MLXchange was the best conversion we’ve ever done," said Gayle Brown-Fox, 2003 President of the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors. "First American MLS Solutions has been there for us at every step. They’ve really done a terrific job for us."
Brown-Fox and the more than 8700 members of the GLVAR made the switch to the MLXchange MLS system on February 25, 2003, almost three months ahead of schedule.
"We established a technology committee and focus groups to evaluate every product that was out there," said Brown-Fox. "When it was all said and done, we simply felt that First American had the best product."
"Additionally, we wanted a technology partner that we could count on to stand by our members. We’ve been with First American for some time now, so we knew they would be able to properly support us and our new system."
For the majority of GLVAR members, it has been business as usual since cutting over to MLXchange.
"I’ve only received a handful of e-mails from agents who are having problems, and that’s out of an organization of more than 8000 people," said Brown-Fox. "Of course, not everything is perfect—the CMA module doesn’t work exactly how we’d like it to—but First American is working closely with us to resolve those kind of issues."
"If I had to rate my satisfaction with MLXchange and First American MLS Solutions on a scale of one to ten, I’d give them a nine. I don’t give out tens because there’s always room for improvement."
